Dr. Summers is a part time Instructor of chiropractic technique including spinal palpation and adjusting, extremity palpation and adjusting, physical therapy modalities, soft tissue treatment, and rehabilitation procedures.

He has also published two articles in American Fencing Magazine regarding low back pain in fencing and biomechanical analysis of muscle imbalance in fencing.
